As a professional opera singer, it is very important to me to share my knowledge and give others the gift of performance and accomplishment that was given to me as I was learning my craft.

Principles of My Teaching
The foundation of my teaching is grounded in classical technique and expression. This gives students of both voice and piano a solid foundation that will allow them to grow and develop in classical singing, opera and musical theater. I specialize in Italian repertoire as well as English and French.
I have over 20 years of private study in voice and 10 years of private study in piano. I love to teach and I love to watch young people go beyond who they know themselves to be.
My teaching is based on developing a good working relationship with my students, and giving them the encouragement and guidance to work hard so they can celebrate their accomplishments.
Who do I teach?
I teach beginner and intermediate piano and all levels of voice including professional level. I welcome adults as well as young people. For piano, I recommend 7 years or older. For voice, preferably 12 years or older, though I will consider younger students. I provide adult students with preparation for auditions, choral works, community theater and professional work.
I also offer experience in preparing students to successfully audition for entry into performance/music education colleges and universities.
